Meet our Staff

Mr. Brian Fayant comes to us from Edmonton after completing a one year contract with the Aboriginal Mental Health Board.  Brian has widespread experience in policy, program development and management.  He has been an advocate for Metis Governance, Economic, Social and Education Development, Child and Social Reform.  Brian looks forward to assisting the Metis Local 1935 achieve their goals and working towards a prosperous future as our Economic Development Manager as well as General Manager with Infinity Metis Corporation.

 

CAROL NIPSHANK is the Executive Assistant of the Metis Local 1935 and Treasurer of the Board of Directors.  She was born and raised in Calling Lake, Alberta and has lived in Fort McMurray for 5 years. She brings to the organization many years of experience in the field of Office Administration.

 

 

 BEA DERANGER is the Projects Assistant.  She grew up in Fort McMurray and has a Business Certificate and a Micro Computer Office Systems Diploma.  She enjoys working for the Metis Local 1935 and feels it is a learning experience equivalent to any University classroom.  In the future she plans on completing her Bachelor of Arts & Science majoring in Business Economics.
